DNS feature where the resolved IP for a hostname depends on the geographic origin of the requesting resolver. Route 53 supports this; Apply4 uses it to point users at the load balancer closest to their region. Not a per-request decision because DNS answers are cached, but reliable enough to steer users to the right region at the infrastructure level.
