Facilitation structure Mariusz Gil recommends for remote EventStorming. Offline everyone talks in one room; remote (via Zoom breakouts) every split severs communication channels, so the session must be run as repeated split–merge–split–merge cycles. Each subgroup works in its own dedicated space (e.g. on Miro). The facilitator must be ready for each group's state and react even when engaged with one — which means planning group count and channels before the workshop, not reacting during it. Merge phase: the facilitator interprets each group's result aloud so the room can correct misinterpretations, using light time-boxing to keep iterations on track.
