Conference speaker and long-time TDD/BDD practitioner. Self-describes as co-founder of the Eventide project and MessageDB, with a background in software testing, design, UX, architecture and management. Gave conference talks on DDD as early as 2002 and was a self-described DDD zealot before moving on; now publicly opposes the DDD subculture as a celebrity-geek clique while endorsing its design fundamentals. Gave a 2018 talk at Explore DDD Conf with Nathan Ladd critiquing mistakes in the tactical patterns. Works with Nathan on the Neuron product for a Silicon Valley venture-capital law firm. Began working with Nathan Ladd in 2015; the pair's dissatisfaction with minitest and RSpec produced Test Bench.
