Ruby developer focused on high-performance concurrency with io_uring. Works in industrial process control, maintaining legacy apps originally built on EventMachine. Author of several Ruby concurrency gems — first Polyphony (very high-level), then a much lower-level gem, and most recently UringMachine (a balanced-abstraction successor to both, also motivated by EventMachine's unmaintained status). Also built his own Rack-compatible web server and the Syntropy web framework for personal use. Presented at wroclove.rb 2026.
