When stakeholders insist read models must be instantaneously consistent, remind them that displayed data is already stale the moment it's rendered. Moving the freshness window by a few seconds for projection lag is fine for virtually all UIs. Business-critical decisions, however, should be made against up-to-date projections computed at decision time (often seeded from snapshots).
